We've Seen It All

Every family in the Twin Cities has a box of tapes somewhere. Maybe it's VHS recordings of the Twins winning the World Series. Maybe it's Super 8 film from a cabin up north in the '70s. VHS tapes have a practical lifespan of about 20 to 30 years. 8mm and Super 8 film degrades as the dyes in the emulsion fade and the film base becomes brittle.
